I thought there'd be some comments on this. My wife and I thought this was one of the creepier videos we've ever seen.

What exactly are you upset over? It wasn't an agenda being pushed by the district, school board, or school principal/staff. It was selected by their PTA (meaning mostly parents)... and from what it sounds like, no one watched the whole video. Seems like a mistake that arose out of good intentions.

He said the PTA board chose the video and Wade did not see it before it was shown in the assembly.

"It got to a point where she turned to her assistant and said, 'Oops, I wish I would have seen this before. I don't think I would have shown it,' " Williams said. He said Wade could see how some adults might find the video political.

Yeah, it was a caught mistake by the leaders of the school and was apologized for. I'm sure there were good intentions on the video until it was actually watched...

I'm not in awe that they showed it. I believe it truly was an innocent mistake. What I am in awe of, is the sheer propaganda in the content of the video itself.

Technically it's a pledge to the office of the POTUS but all the services members are pledged to Obama

I can understand this video in a high school ...maybe...but to show it to such a young group is ridiculous they are extremely impressionable and tend to copy what they see and hear. shame on the school officials here. may have been an honest mistake though guess you never really know
