America, I want a divorce!

America, I want a divorce!
My sister sent this to me. I got a kick out of it...
Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters,
et al. We have stuck together since the late 1950s, but the whole of this latest election process
has made me realize that I want a divorce.
I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations,
but sadly, this relationship has run its course. Our two ideological sides of America
cannot and will not ever agree on what is right so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can
smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way. Here is a model
Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass, each taking a portion.
That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement.
After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide
other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.
We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them.
You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.
Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military.
You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell (You are, however, responsible for
finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them).
We'll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart
and Wall Street.
You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys, hippies and illegal aliens. We'll keep
the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks. We'll keep the Bibles and
give you NBC and Hollywood .
You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer
places that threaten us.
You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are
under assault, we'll help provide them security.
We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.. You are welcome to Islamic Terrorists,
Scientology, Humanism and Shirley McClain.
You can also have the U.N.. but we will no longer be paying the bill.
We'll keep the SUVs, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every
Subaru station wagon you can find.
You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. We'll continue
to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right.
We'll keep The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the National Anthem.
I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute Imagine, I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing,
Kum Ba Ya or We Are the World.
We'll practice trickle down economics and you can give trickle up poverty your best shot.
Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag.
Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like minded liberal and
conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete.
In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you ANWAR which one of us will need whose
help in 15 years.

P.S. Also, please take Barbara Streisand & Jane Fonda with you.

Everyone need's to start waking up!
It does not matter who would have won the Election! Obama or McCain?
Some else is pulling the strings!
Has anyone noticed a steady decline in our freedoms? Or how well the FED Reserve is defended even thought it's ripping off our country! Our right to defend ourselves is the final target.
Obama is NOTHING different than Bush. We still are in Iraq/Afghanistan and our Bill of Rights is worthless! You think McCain would have changed anything? FaKK NO! We would still have NO CIVIL liberties, Martial Law and more pointless wars followed by fear mongering.
Dem or Rep? Left or Rigth? It makes no difference, the Media is owned by 4 Corporations that push one agenda.
If the Citizens of this country have not opened their eyes to the International Banking Cartels that run our country, we are doomed to be slaves. There are many citizens that are aware of this crisis and are starting to alert others.
Please for the Love of our Republic, do some research beyond what CNN/Fox is telling you!

As far as this goes, 20 states have declared sovereignty because the Federal Government is out of control.

I think the entire point of his post was to point out the blatant hypocrisy of Irish Cannon calling Jaegernaut a tool for stereotyping an entire group of people when his post had done the exact same.Gee doesn't that sound exactly like what you accuse "those close minded bigots" of? But because you are "enlightened and progressive" its ok?

as far as california crumbling, its because 4 states - cali, texas, florida, and new york comprise 40% of the US economy. california is crumbling because it supports 10 other states to do nothing except hold themselves afloat. yes, texas will be OK, but you're already in the top 10 states for education. california isn't in the top 25. i'd welcome a chance to change that. i'd bet with better education, california could do even better than 150% of texas' economy.
GDP by state (in millions)....2007
1 California 1,812,968
2 Texas 1,141,965
3 New York 1,103,024
4 Florida 734,519
5 Illinois 609,570
etc, down to...
47 S Dakota 33,934
48 Wyoming 31,514
49 N Dakota 27,725
50 Vermont 24,543
$16 billion dollar budget deficit my hiney. one of our valley's grows more food that north dakota, and we don't get federal aid to do it
notice that vermont is at the bottom of the list for GDP, yet its in the top 5 ranked states for public schools.

After living in southern california for 5 years I think I have apretty good understanding as to the objectives of the state. Liberal! Period! Gays, anti-smoking, green is good, bio-deisel, hug a tree, I smoke pot, California! Being one of the biggest states in union would be WHY you have one of the highest GDPs. Not because you support it better.! If NY or Mass. or Chi-town was half as big as your big 3 (SD, LA, and SF) they would contribute just as much if not more!

I was talking more about the schools. Sadly numbers show high minoirty, highly populated cities have the worst education numbers so the money probably wont ever be there. The city of detroit is looking to have to close almost 50% of their public schools because the state and fed dont want to invest in somthing that will, more than likely fail. Detroit has about a 22% graduation rate. See what im saying? I hope that made sense.

26 North Carolina….. 2,146.68
i'm not trying to be an ass here, i find it remarkable that you're number 26, and california is number 26 in education - that's the disparity that i'm pointing out.

canada somehow did this right - vancouver's population is somewhere around 45% chinese, 10% indian, 42% white, 3% other, and their education system is top notch. somehow, i forsee that we'll get into a race argument here though, so i'm out before it gets bad.
