Frank Luntz, one of the more reliable pollsters, was talking about Obama's overpolling in the primaries for some time now. There is actually a name for it, when a person says they are going to vote for one candidate and vote for another once behind closed door, but I cannot recall at the moment.
By the way... since when is using the word "delusional" inappropriate or abusive language?
delusional: having an idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as truth
Yeah... I'd say that my word choice was accurate and inoffensive... to those with a vocabulary or a dictionary.
Congratulations to the Obama camp
Commiserations to the McCain camp.
From a British point of view i hope now we can stop being Bush s lapdog and can act independently of the US when it comes to Iraq
For the life of me, I couldnt get any friendly wagers from friend or foe.
Everyone thought it was going to be too close, myself included. Boy, was i wrong.
MSNBC called it at 10pm.
McCain concession speach at/around 10:15 central time.
I must admit, McCain's concession speach was excellent.
He should have spoke more like that through the campaign.
Owell, now all these McCain vs Obama debates can end.
Now i get to go rub it in at work. Today is good.
I thought they called ohio earlier than they should have and it did end up quite close, but pennsylvania and ohio were why he conceeded that early
to give kristofer some perspective... here is a list of popular vote margins
most other than bush were quite a bit higher than obama's margin, so unless you believe every president has had a mandate, sorry no mandate here. Had obama broken the 10% margin in popular vote, i would have felt it was a mandate even if I didn't agree with it
