2005 progress pics
Hey, guys. Reading the site and watching everyone's progress helps keep me motivated, so I thought I'd share some of my own pics.
I'll be 37 in a few days. I've been focusing on getting back in decent shape after taking care of career and other things for years.
These pics are approx 13 months apart. Now that I'm in better shape and feeling good, my goal is to add some quality size over the winter and then lean out more next spring. I'm even considering joining the circus if Bobo thinks he can do much with a geezer like me.

Great job old-timer jk, keep it up! What are your stats before and after?

Yeah, that's a nice change there. Straight diet and cardio or lifting involved?

Thanks, guys. I appreciate all the encouraging feedback.
Burner - at almost 6', 202 lbs in the first pic if memory serves; 174 in the more recent - took over 4 inches off the waist - had to buy new jeans which was cool, but lost a full inch off upper arms, too; d'Oh! I'll take it, though. I feel much better.
Jayhawk - Yeah, I usually hit the weights 3 times a week and do 3 runs of 3-4 miles weekly. I hate cutting/dieting and couldn't resist taking several "breathers" along the way to jack up cals for a few weeks at a time!

Bro you look great. Take it from a 34 year old that has trained my entire life. Believe it or not, easier to get hard at this age. With the correct diet, training and supps of course

Wow bro you look great. I am in the same boat as you were...39 next month...6' and 198 on Labor Day...184 now. Guess I know now how far down I may need to go to get rid of this stubborn lower abdominal fat
Congratulations and keep up the awesome work!!!

This is a great thread! Great inspiration. I JUST turned 40 and have been hitting the weights again for two years now after about a 12-year layoff (work). I'm 5'11" and 224 and about 16% bodyfat. Had to struggle hard the first year back--rotator cuffs tore and had no energy--but the second year back has been really great. My progress just took off about four months into the second year. I'll post some pics. Arms finally hit 17"+. Still need to lose bodyfat, but damn, it is so hard to do that without losing muscle, too. Anyway, good job on your progress.

Bitmask, you look great man. You say you lost a full inch off your upper arms, but they actually look bigger compared to before thanks to increased definition. What do they measure? I'm guessing mid sixteens.

Parteeman, good job - looking forward to your pics.
Nabeshin - down to mid 15's in the last pic, but I'm taking in more cals now, and the tape is finally moving in the right direction again!
carib102 - Sounds like you're in the groove, just a matter of sticking it out now. Good luck, bro.
