    All in all I'd say I did alright. A large portion of my first year was wasted on poor nutrition and training, but I'm certainly happy with the results so far. I'm well aware of the horrendous posing in the first pic , but you'll have to bear with me here. I'm even more impressed with my strength gains than I am with size gains, but I already had a solid foundation of retard strength to build on.

    My hat goes off to you sir, you leaned up and gained a good amount of muscle, not easily done!

    I would suggest working on your shoulders (delts!), and also your chest, I think that your forearms and bis/tris are overpowering the rest of your physique, at least in these photos, keep up the progress and continue to post pics, very inspiring.

    Just curious, because you seem to have done a pretty good job thickening up and shedding fat.

    Thanks a lot guys. I'm roughly 5'11 and my weight shifts between 175-178. Strange how you mention my biceps being a strong point, as I always thought they sucked . I also agree that my chest is very weak (strength wise also.) I'd say I've been doing everything the correct way for about 6 months now.

    My current total is 1240. 445 squat, 520 deadlift, and 275 bench. The deadlift I just pulled today, actually.

    I don't really have any goals set in stone. Now that I'm lean and able to take my shirt off in public with pride, I plan to focus more on powerlifting, and maybe try my hand at a strongman comp if I can find one near me.

    Maybe a little gear helped you out, too? Just teasin--you don't have to answer that.
    Haha, thanks. I hardly consider myself knowledgeable enough about the proper usage of gear to pull off a decent cycle. I'll give it a few more years, re-evaluate my situation, and then decide the direction I'd like to head in.

    This is a compliment when I say I never would have guessed those squat and deadlift numbers for your size, are those 1 rep MAXes or working sets!? I do mean that as a compliment because it is very impressive eitherway, and I can only imagine what type of poundages you will be moving once you grow even more. Awesome man, keep us posted!

    Heheh Thanks. It would certainly be nice if they were working set numbers . They are my 1 rep maximums.
