I guess you have never heard of the Valley then? You would be suprised how many rednecks there are over here. I am in Nor Cali, not down south where all the pretty boys are. My family is from Nebraska and Missouri so I am not your typical Cali boy. And if you say "DA" you are definitely not a redneck. Rednecks say der' and dem' dum' and det' and dar' not "Da".

I'm from the central valley and the only redneck's I know of aren't really rednecks, but more like white trash. Now since farming is big in the central valley, we do have a lot of rancher types, but no rednecks that I can ever recall. Come to the South, you'll find a host of rednecks. It's night and day brutha.
