Have i gone forward or back?

Ok 2 pics taken about a month apart, but i'm not sure if i've actually progressed in any way!

Black shorts = old
Grey shorts = new.

I'd really apreaciate any comments from...well...anyone really. (oh and a dictionary)

Maybe a little leaner in the second pic. Sorry, obviously, I don't have a dictionary either.

looks like you slimmed down in the waistline a bit, but that is the biggest difference I see.
