Going on my own. My main thing is staying lean and taking things slowly. Unlike the past, I'm not willing to eat my face off. I'm gonna try to put on mass slowly. In all honesty, if I can put on 1lb of LBM per month, I'll look pretty damn good 3 years from now at 25. But from here on out I'm gonna be very anal about measuring my waist.

Wish I had that 1 lb a month plan at 22......I'd be utterly huge by now. For some reason tho, I still haven't realized that getting big is a marathon not a sprint .

What a great attitude, and you're only 22! ****, I'm 36 and I've just started to figure out what you already know at 22. In a world of instant gratification it's hard to have that kind of discipline. Keep up the great work, that's an incredible transformation. It just goes to show what you can accomplish if you put a solid effort into the right things at the right time.

Great job. I suggest DS GXR, and AL Sesathin to keep the fat off on bulk. Great job, shows what hard work and determination can get for you...Dim

Thumbs up

Awesome job! You've definitely provided another example of willpower and steadfast desire to achieve a goal. You should feel very proud (as I'm sure you are) of such an accomplishment.

Bah...

Don't need any of that at all.

Want to keep the fat off? Eat right. If someone thinks a supplement is going to keep the fat off even while they eat incorrectly, they are nuts.

Thanx guys!

As for the supps, no thanx. As Bobo stated (and proved to me), there is no magic supp to keep you lean when eating an abundance of calories. Actually if most board sponsors knew how I felt about MOST supplements they'd probably try to have me banned from the board.

I have some CEE and NO-Xplode laying around that I may give a try in a few months, but other than protein powder, thats all I'm gonna use.

I think what Bobo is saying is that supps are beneficial but not mandatory...you can't substitute hard work and discipline in the realms of diet and exercise to achieve the results DT accomplished...but you didn't hear that from me

No it is not. Your original comment smited my reccomendation of sesathin and GXR to help on a lean bulk. Of course no supp is worth a **** if your diet is not on point (hence my "this goes without saying), but that is a given, as is the fact that a bulk is not going to do much if training AND diet are both on point. Any subsequent reccomendation on supps is therefore implicitly stating (Given a proper diet and training) Supps X and Y will help with your goals. And after your "bah" of my suggestion, I was just curious as to why you would allow sponsors (as this is a tacit suggestion of their use) that sold supps which are "worthless".

Unless your casual dismissal of my reccomendation was meant in a different light...Dim

So we are supposed to read your mind when it comes to diet? We assume diet and traiing are a given? If that were the case he wouldn't need a supplements to curb fat gain. Its a pointless recommendation when the problem is fixed with diet.

Nobody said supplements are worthless. Where did you see this stated?

Fat gain is purely diet related. Telling someone they should go buy 2 supplements when the problem is purely diet related is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous is your sponsor statement.

"I suggest DS GXR, and AL Sesathin to keep the fat off on bulk."

Wrong. Fix your diet. Telling someone to use a supplement isn't fixing the problem, its prolonging it and costing them money. When the diet is down then they can spend their money on supplements that could possible help further increase gains or fat loss (something food won't do)
