How tall are you? I have heard some having good success at cutting by doing 12-15 reps, but I would also have some heavy days, 6-8 reps to help your muscles grow. Planning any cardio? If you use a treadmill go full incline for 20 min, it is hi intensity for a short period, but that intensity keeps the burning going for quite a while later.

you have some good size so you'll look good as you lose weight.

good luck

thanx, yea i was going to do alot more cardio then usuall. right now is punching bag and jump rope and speed bag, cause of knee. but in a week or 2 should be much better

You have a GREAT base to cut on. Why type of diet and all that. You know how much of your weight is lean mass? What your maintenance cals should be? Lets hear your stats, and go from there.

You a fighter? You have the build of one.

Solid, solid base man.

Sounds like you have a good plan to start with. Personally, I found that going heavy (6-10 reps) tended to preserve muscle mass more than endurance range reps (12-15 reps). Especially if you are going 4x per week, hitting each part 1x. If you keep doing fight training (I agree with the other guys. You have to be doing some work there).

For cardio, keep things shaken up. LISS cardio and HIIT both will serve you best, definitely.

With your diet, watch it carefully. Keep your protein high to support your lean mass, and keep the loss rate in check. No more than 1-2 pounds per week, after the initial water drop.

thank you, yea i alwasy wanted to become a fighter and or do.. i was doing it for a lil while in a gym round these parts.. grappling andf ll and do a lil training but got out.. because i wanted moneya nd family business.=/ what i'll do tonight when i get home is redo my log and start from ground zero and do it right.. tell u what im gonna do and the cardio.. and my daily fgood.. i luv the fight world and luv going at it.. thats why i want to push harder and harder and not fail.. i want to be big dawg and let lose from the leash.. most defintly i will post my stats. i wanted to be more lean.. i have a lil idea and i just need a lil help curving and strraighting it out.. i appreciate the help and thanx.. But i'll keep u posted and make a better well rounded log and show what i can do.. and make it worth doiing and hope everything goes well./

Great base man, welcome aboard.

Best advice I can give you, is to train HEAVY in the 6-8 rep range at least 2 times a week. This will help you hold onto your muscle as you cut. If you want to include some high rep low weight lifting days too that is fine, but add some heavy days during the week too.

precaite it.. yea im going back to heavy i've made up my mind.. thanx for the help, cause if it wasnt for yall i woulda been lost and kept doing the same thing.. i will consolidate my new log tomarrow. Cause i blew up the forums and i messed up when i got to exited =/ but i now know what to do and how i am going to do it. Tomarrow moorning will be a post on everything i am doing. and im a get this **** rocking@!

Dude you're going to look monstrous when you lean out...Good luck. Get some of that primaforce sesamin oil that's under cost at nutra if they still have it. It's workin well for me.
