Aspire36 Safety

Is it safe to take with my high bp medicine?. Hydrochlorot 12.5 mg. It is a diuretic used to lower blood pressure by excreting extra sodium through the urine.

I was just told to "consult your doctor" by PAL customer service. I think maybe someone elese can answer this better....Of course the doctor is gonna tell me not to take any supplements!. That is just how doctors think!. I understand they are just trying to cover themselves legally.

well taking in consideration that you have a medical condition and your not supposed to supplement. And also since your condition is HBP and since aspire36 enhance blood flow. it might interact, not sure how but it can do something. if i had a condition like that and if i didnt care what everybody said and that i had issues with BP i would try first aspirelite, since its the same but at a lower concentration.

Also take in consideration that some users have reported headaches that could be cause by poor hydration. just be safe Tbone, if you really want to try aspire try first the lite.

But then again i would stay away if i had a condition related to BP

I don't know. It does have ingredients in it shown to lower blood pressure. The thing is it was a low dose when prescribed and is just a diruetic. It was prescribed at 25 mg, then taken down to 12.5 mg. Very very low, because of a slight elevation in blood pressure it would make sense that it would be safe to take with aspire36. Just wanted others input but the use of it will be my decision ultimately. I wanted a definite answer from the reps that put the product on the market. The medication I take is only a diruetic(very safe). It works by ridding the body of excess sodium through urine. Simple.

I think I am gonna take it anyway. Oh well, I like my local hospitals food anyway!. Hahaha!. I really don't think it is much of an issue given the type of medication and the way that it works. Maybe with other medications there would be an issue, but a water pill?

The only main worry is a drop in blood pressure. Other than slight possibility of that, a healthy individual should not experience any sides. And it never hurts to still ask a doc or pharmacist for their input.

Well, I ended up saving it and not taking it. I still don't think it would be a problem though. Doctors in general are against all supplementation besides a basic multi-vitamin. If you seriously look at how my medication works and how this supplement works though I just don't see how their could be any type of interaction.

Any more different thoughts on this?. Anyone with experience using an extremely low dose diuretic?

I would not advise anyone taking any sort of BP medication to use Aspire. Better safe than sorry IMO.
