MAN - anyone from PALO ALTO care to respond?!

I've PM'd PaloAlto from just about every board. How about a little help here.

feeling like **** lately - INTENSE TRAINING

MOD EDIT: REPOST OF TEXT FROM LINK.

Normally, I'd advise a cornocopia of micronutrition (Rhodiola, Licorice, Pantothenic Acid, L-Theanine, DHEA, Vitamin C, Phosphatidylserine, Melatonin - not necessarily all of them) along with assessing the person's diet and 'lifestyle' including sleep habits and then make the appropriate alterations.

However, recently, a Supp Company called PALO ALTO LABS came up with a product called RE-SET. I "wrote it off" as I do with many of the over-hyped BS supps out there over-exagerrating their benefits (I hate that ****). Anyway, I read a feedback thread on AnabolicMinds a month or so ago that really peaked my interest as it came from several bro's I actually "know" from the boards.

I figured, what the heck -- so I ordered ONE BOTTLE for my fiance and got one for an employee with the same affliction.

Update: best stuff on the market for said cause!

My fiance is a stim-junkie as are several of the employees in the office so they are always hitting me up for ways to beat the difficult conundrum (needing their caffeine to 'stay awake' but ironically it's exactly one of the main culprits making them WORSE!) Adrenal Fatigue that stems from Chronic Stim use is difficult beat especially after being on for years at a time/chronic use)

Long story short - my fiance, and the 1 employee have tried it so far (both females just for the record) and BOTH love the stuff.

Within a few days, they cut their stim junkie use in half AND felt more energetic/less lethargic and sleep was almost instantly improved as well.(2 tell-tale signs that the adrnenals are getting the support they need to perform optimally again). The weeks to follow only returned continued improvements. The other stim junkie employees have now ordered the stuff as a result of what they've heard. LOL

****I don't like to endorse a product I haven't used myself HOWEVER given the results of the people I know personally and thier profiles (extreme adreneal fatigue) -- it seems like the real deal**** Again, I have not used this myself!

Here's the product: http://www.muscleculture.com/forums/...ead.php?t=7095

And before anyone asks - I have never received one thing free from that company nor have I ever asked nor have I ever been offerred -- and -- I've never had any personaly correspondences with them whatsoever.

Good luck!

I will contact Palo Alto as they are on another board I hang at and see if they can shed some additional light as to how the product's synergistic constituents actually work as the ones I typically advise are relatively different in both mode of action and delivery..........

I think they've been pretty overwhelmed given the explosion in popularity of their products. I'm sure someone will be in contact soon.

Regardless.... DrVeeJay, that is a quality, respectable post. Reset is some good stuff, and for the price it cannot be beat.
I know I read somewhere on this forum an explanation of sorts from Dave at Palo Alto..... I'll see if I can find it for you.

Okkkkk, I just got your PM on the other forum... sorry but due to the short work week, I hadn't a chance to login to every forum yet this week.

It looks like you are on the right path with your suggestions to cope with adrenal fatigue.. here's how our formula and concept differs:
When PAL formulated Reset AD, our R&D team looked to address the problems of the upregulation of the A1 receptors from overconsumption of stimulants as well as to address adrenal health, nourishment, and repair. The upregualtion of the A1 & a2 receptors in your body from over stim use causes
you to require more and more stimulants to get the same effect as you got when you first started taking stimulants. This upregulation of the a1 receptors leads to fatigue and an overall lack of energy.

I definitely agree with you regarding the additional dietary panothenic acid, Licorice, and Vitamin C as they work to repair adrenal health.

Our use of Pregnenolone is also important in its regards to the body's ability to react efficiently to stress. In addition to stress regulation, pregnenolone in theory helps to downregulate the same A1 receptors that stimulants and caffiene upregulate. This down regulation of A1/A2 receptors helps to allow your stimulants to be more effective and your energy levels to rebound.

In a particular study K .T . Muneoka et al . / Brain Research 956 (2002) 332–338 , researchers administered neonatal rats with caffeine while in the womb, when born theirA1 receptors were upregulated and they were lethargic upon birth.
In another group, upregulated (given caffiene in the womb) neonatal rats were then given pregnenolone while still in the womb as treatment for the upregulated A1 receptors. This goup of neonatal rats when born showed a propencity for hyper-locomotive activity. Thus showing that pregnenolone could help to down regulate the upregulation of a1 receptors caused by stimulants.

What this illustrates is pregnenolone's ability to downregulate receptors that have been overabused... ie allows lower doses of stimulants to have an effect. Over time, this allows the user to lower the dose of stimulants until a normal/healthy range is established
