17a Plus asthma meds

Hi, i am planning a cycle of MD2 (ergomax LMG copy) to start just after Christmas and i wondered if anyone knows if the inhalers i use for asthma would react with the hormone in MD2. The inhales contain:

SALBUTAMOL i only take this if i am wheezy

FLUTICASONE with SALMETEROL i have two puffs of this morning and night.

I appreciate any help, and i did do a search but couldn't find what i was looking for.:blink:

You really should be asking a Physician and not members of an internet forum... for your own health's sake!
 
Well a lot of people on here seem more knowlegable about performance enhancers than i reckon most doctors are.
i don't fancy going to my doc and telling him "I'm gonna take some pills i bought off the internet to build muscle" and "Will it interfere with my inhalers?"

Just call up a doc anonymously and ask them. Of course, you don't need to say, "Doctor, I'm going to be taking some anabolic growth substances and/or designer steroids, and want to know if that's okay..?" Of course most docs will say don't do it. But if you ask if there are any contraindications between salbutamol or fluticasone, etc. and increased levels of testosterone in the blood, then you'll probably get an honest answer.

No offense, but there is alot of liability if someone tells you that there are no contraindications, you believe them, and seriously hurt yourself.

At the very least, search google for contraindications on these medicines.

I'm not trying to be a dick... I'm seriously just trying to get you to guard your health, and not take unnecessary risks.

I strongly recommend using an anabolic with any type of potent, synthetic corticosteroid (like Fluticasone). It can usually help control the catabolic qualities of the corticoid without enhancing inflammation or making the asthma any worse. Salbutamol is a beta adrenergic and commonly used with anabolics for weight control while lean bulking or muscle retention when PCT cutting, etc.
 
So could the fact that i've been using fluticasone for years be related to the fact that i find it hard to build mass? If it is catabolic.

Yes! Big time my friend. You will always lose your hard earned gains very fast if your diet is not perfect. Your immune system will stay under-reactive (so you'll get sick and lose even more weight easily) and vasoconstriction will discourage cardiogenesis (good vascularity needed for growth) as well. You will feel relaxed all the time on fluticasone, but it slowly depresses your adreanal gland and eats away you joints, nerves and cardiovascular system. If you need it, take it, but I seriously recommend stacking an anabolic steroid to stop the catabolism. This is well proven to work.
 
I think i will ask my doctor if i can change to a diferent type of preventer then. I do seem to get a lot of colds and sore throats. Maybe this is the reason.
If i stop using it how long would it take, do you think, to see a difference?

Do you know if there are any types of preventer that don't have side effects like this?

Thanks for your help, it has really made sense to me. I wondered in the past whether my meds were affecting me in any way but just thought "Nah, can't be, they help"

As I understand it, with inhalers, very little of the active is distributed systemically. It's not as if he is taking Medrol.

It's true, the doses are tiny and act somewhat locally, so it may not add up to much muscle loss for most guys. I guess I just really don't like the idea of a potent corticoid for chronic use. Respiratory infection is my ultimate concern with this type of stuff.

I strongly dislike the idea myself, as someone who was constantly prescribed oral corticosteroids (mainly medrol/prednisone) through childhood/puberty.

Nothing like being able to reap all the physical appearance benefits of chronic corticosteroid use in a developing body. /sarcasm off.
 
I take albuterol as my "rescue" inhaler. I have not had to use it as much since hitting the gym hard and taking pheraplex. Don't know if there is any reason behind this.
