Taste Yummy! (pre-grilled Balsalmic vinegar)

YUM and relatively cheap

My question: It says 24 grams of protein per serving - serving size 3 ounces!
WTF

How can that be!?!?

Ingredients: chicken, balsalmic vinegar, thats it!

Everything Ive always researched put 8 ounces of cooked chicken at 45 grams TOPS -- so -- 4 ounces = 23 grams! 3 ounces = even LESS.

What gives?

From nutritiondata.com: "Chicken, broilers or fryers, breast, meat only, cooked, roasted"

9g protein per ounce
3oz. would be 27g

So yeah, I just added more confusion to your querry. Sorry :)

haha. yes you did!!

thanks though

I thought it was 7grams of protein per ounce. so it would come out to 21grams of protein thats a big difference 21 and 29.

Whole foods has home cooked meals like that are healthy and you just re-heat in the microwave. different chicken breasts with various light sauces with some steamed veggies or carb. They also have salmon, london broil, turkey, and more. They are awesome for those of us who don't have the time nor the place to cook.

Anyone have a verified correct answer here? Lots of confusion..........

God I love that place. A typical BB'er could blow a small fortune in there with all the amazing and somewhat rare foods.
