    hello.....

    how do i know if my body its burning fat for energy...? i've been in a ketogenic diet for about 4 weeks with no carb load since...im planning my carb load day this monday.....

  3. Ask someone if your breath smells bad, people in ketosis usually have horrible breath.

  4. yeah i read about the bad breat but until now no body has tell me nothing....by the way i taking leviathan i just started....where can i get the ketones strips?

    Maybe you have some polite friends lol. There are other indicators to, but Ketone strips are probably the most reliable and you can get them at most drug stores and places like Walmart might also have them. Good Luck on you cut.

  8. hey i did the test and the results are negative.....why its that i've been on this diet for about 4 weeks without carbs (only broccoli and green beens and the little amount on the cottage cheese and eggs)

  9. You don't have to be in ketosis for your body to be using (body)fat for energy. Personally I wouldn't sweat it if the strips aren't showing you in ketosis but to each their own.

  10. just throw in a higher carb day once a week. Have complex carbs earlier in the morning.

    Anything to keep your body from shrinking away, eating muscle, or losing too much energy to workout hard is important.

    Best time for carbs are:

    Breakfast, right when u wakeup
    Right before a workout for energy
    Right after a workout to replenish & grow

    Those are the main times you don't have to worry about carbs hurting you as much. I keep my bodyfat around 7-8% year round this way, just by cycling my carbs correctly at the right time.
