    What is the effect of heat on whey protein? I love to put ATW cinnamon bun & mix it in my hot oat meal. I know that it will in fact de-nature the protein, but how much? How much nutrition am I getting compared to putting a scoop in milk vs. hot oat meal?

  2. Protein content is the same gram for gram, it will just change the absorption/digestion as far as I know. There's a ton of previous threads on this topic. Also I don't think there has been any studies to determine the % denaturation of whey by heat.
