Quick question about non-workout days

Do you generally consume ~400-500 less calories on non-workout days since those extra calories aren't being burned from exercise?

Yes, but I think of it differently. I consume 400 calories MORE on workout days. I eat the same meal schedule as my non-workout days, except I throw in an additional post work out Whey+Dextrose(Powerade) shake, which comes to around 400 calories.

This assumes that you are already eating Maintenance + 500 calories on off days also. (during a slow bulk)

For example: I need 2700 calories to maintain my mass. I usually eat 3200 calories a day during a bulk, and I add an additonal 400 calories on my workout days as a post workout shake.
