Questions for sick friend

Friend is sick with some "mutated" virus (docs words) ? something like the flu is what his doctor is saying

hes taking albuterol, hydrocodone, guafinenex, tamiflu, motrinIB and methylpred

Isn't Methylpred an exogenous corticosteroid hormone?

Would it be a bad idea for him to Do any cardio or Training this week since wouldnt that make him more catabolic than usual?

Appreciate any advice

Yes medrol is one of the many corticosteroids(solumedrol,decadron,prednisone,sol ucortef,prelone) used to treat many different diseases(allergic reaction, reactive airway disease, asthma, cerebral/spinal swelling due to injury) by decreasing the bodies overall immune response. If he is sick he needs to be resting up and conserving his energy. Any training or cardio while he is ill will place unneeded stress on the body and delay the healing process even more.
