    Electrolyte drinks

Is there any real benefit to having gatorade during your workout if your already bracketing glucose?

I don't care for Gatorade as far as benefits are concerned. It tastes good. I'd personally mix Poseidon with Propel... That's the best thing I do for any sporting activity. What do you mean by bracketing glucose?

I dont see any real benefit unless your doing some hardcore cardio for a long period of time. I dont think you will lose enough hydration in such a short peroid of time from doing weights alone.

Its essentially just salt and cordial anyway. If you dont get enough salt in your diet though, it would a good idea because some guys dont get enough electorlytes, but its pretty rare - mainly people who have no salt whatsoever including their meals...or guys who do heaps of cardio and sweat a lot and especially if you take regular saunas.

Bracketing meaning taking half before your workout and half after, something like 30 mins before and 30 mins after. Which is what I plan on doing with protein(w/ bcaas), glucose and creatine.
