which Rice for post workout meal?
Heard various things on this topic, some saying to go with something very high GI like jasmine rice, then i've heard the argument for having brown rice, hearing the claim for brown rice whilst stating it is actual high GI anyway. So with so many conflciting ideas i is a little confused. Whats everyone out there opting for?

Unless you skipped your preworkout carbs completely, the GI of your postworkout carbs quite literally doesn't matter. All research showing the benefit of high-GI carbs postW was done on overnight fasted subjects after a complete depletion protocol. It doesn't apply to us at all. My advice is to have what you personally like the taste of best, screw everyone else

ok thanks Alan. I've always had my shake straight after with similar macro's as you descirbe in the sticky and then end have jasmine rice in my meal which can end up being an hour to an hour and after after the shake when i feel i can force some food in, usually quite bloated from shake. Think that i will start to now opt for brown or basmati rice in that meal now, get my high GI pre and immediatey post in my shake so feels the way to go.
Recieced your book a few days ago by the way Alan, will start getting into it this week
Can i ask you pls for your input on this i've posted up about
number of meals and hours between AM cardio and PM wieghts?
