Does eating a good source of protein before bed cause a spike in HGH???

I read some conflicting stuff, some stuff I read says taking Casein and other proteins/Aminos before going to sleep helps increase HGH production, but over on BB.com ,someone said that eating before bed actually lowers HGH because it makes your body produce insulin instead of HGH.

Does anyone know for sure what's right or wrong???

Well that's pretty funny seeing how HGH and insulin, both stimulate protein synthesis.

I would be very interested to see the studies that prove that increased insulin levels stop HGH production.

Also in reference to bed time and HGH levels. This is when HGH levels are highest in men. With or without supplements.
