Really good cereal IMO. Dont know about taste though. I also love the kaschi and nature's path brands. They are pretty good tasting.

Well I bought some... And it does not taste bad. its just plain. get to the bottom of the bowl and a little spoonful of flaxseed can leave a off taste in your mouth but not to bad.

I got it at WinDixie. I want to say it was like $2.50 for a small box

looks like a quality cereal, but no cereal can replace the goodness (if thats a word) oats

I also like kashi go lean, and of course my all time favorite raisin bran (as a cheat )

Good price, and you can add 1-2 packs of splenda in that, it should help masking the flax taste.

Fiber One is my fav. Slap a scoop of natty in there and maybe a dab of jelly for a delish treat.

    My current cereal recipe:
-1 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
    -1/3 cup Dry Skim Milk
-1 serving cereal of your choice: Shredded Wheat, Raisin Bran, Life, Oatmeal Squares, Kashi, frickin Fruit Loops if that's what you need. Healthiness of the cereal depends on your goals I guess.
    -1 to 1 1/2 cups Skim Milk

Add ingredients to a bowl in the order listed.

    Optional Additions:
-1 serving of Fiber One (lots of extra fiber)
-Whey of choice - I recommend Plain Jane unflavored from Anabolicinnovations.
-Sweeteners (Honey, Splenda or Sugar, SF Syrups, etc)
    -Favorite Fruit

Serve cold. Tastes good to me and I've found it to be very easy to eat even when I wake up and I'm not hungry. I barely notice the oats when they're mixed up with a good tasting cereal. You can change your cereal choice around regularly too if your taste buds get bored. If you can't eat that much, start out w/ half a cup of oats and less cereal and work your way up. Goes good w/ a side of scrambled eggs if you need even more protein.

Shredded Wheat is one of the best ones out there. Look at the ingredients. Nothing added, and one I love also.

I picked a box up and sprinkled a little splenda in my bowl and damm this stuff is really good. My 18 month old son was even digging his hand in my bowl eating it.

Haha. I use the spoon sized ones and add splenda in a ziploc, shake, and bring for lunch sometimes. You should try it out

    Random:
Uncle Sam cereal is promoted by Jorge Cruise.
Author of "8 minutes in the Morning".

Just funny.... book title coinciding with a high fiber flax cereal.
