Best price for protein

So I’m about to move into an apartment for college and well obviously I’m trying to save as much money as possible. However, I still want to buy quality protein like chicken, beef, and etc that is organic. Where do you guys think has the best bang for your bucks. And is it just me but the chicken at Walmart the Walmart brand has s disgusting odor to it?

The best chicken I've been able to find for the price is Foresters Farmers Market chicken breast. They come individually wrapped, non GMO, antibiotic and cage free.. 98% fat free. And they actually taste like chicken, unlike Tenderbird. The best value on a quality protein for me is ON Gold Standard. They have a lot of quality flavors, and they're very reasonably priced.

I have a couple butcher places near me and usually get a great deal and the meat is good quality. Not sure if there is any around where you live.

Buy in bulk and invest in a vacuum sealer the hand one owkrs fine and freeze it. I have chest freezer full of meat and I just stock up on sales

I just went to Sam's club, I was really surprised how good the meat section was. Op, anywhere u can buy in bulk and your right, Walmarts meat is funky
