Protein pre contest diet

I am currently on a 1800 calorie, low carb diet including cod, tilapia and greens (this month). My protein is right around 160-170 grams per day. I am 172lbs trying to get to 164 by April for a show. Do you think it would effect me much if I took a extra protein shake a day to curve appetite? Thank you for the advice!

I don't think a shake is going to help your appetite much, and at that low of calories whole food should be all you need.

Whole food. If you're getting 170 grams protein how much fat and carbs are you getting. That alon eis only 680 calories. Wheres the other 1120 coming from?

I would highly recommend an increase in calories as well.
