Will ice baths do lasting harm to my testicles?

After reading an article on ice baths for weight loss, I started doing two timed 10 minute ice baths a day. One in the morning, one at night. After about 5 minutes into the bath my testicles start the ache. Is this normal? Should I be wearing a couple pair of underwear for protection? I would appreciate any feedback

It's because your balls are in a freezing cold tub of ice water. It's not the most comfortable thing to do by any means. You'll be fine.

Cold showers and baths are actually supposed to boost your testosterone, so I think you should be fine.
