How much protein is to much?

I need advice, my cutting program requires 8 meals a day, every meal a lean meat complex carb and green veggie, no milk or bread products. To maintain muscle I need to keep my calories around 3500. The only thing I'm concerned with is having to much protein and effecting my liver. Typically on my diet I'm gettin around 400g a day protein. If I cut down my protein my calories will drop. Any advice??

First protein effects renal (kidney) health (debatable as long as properly hydrated). Secondly, you don't NEED 8 meals a day. Third, there's really no reason to consume 400 g of protein unless you weigh 300-400 pounds. Cut protein to 1-1.5 g/pound. Healthy fats are your friends when trying to fill cals, get around 20g sat fat a day and the rest mono/poly unsaturated.
 
Hmmmm...no I can't say I have. Have you thought about leangains? I personally love it.

And odds are unless you're doing a boatload of cardio or you weigh a boatload, you won't be dropping weight at 3500 cals. A lot of people bulk at that calorie level.
