Love the ideas, Crepes are easy to make healthy too, if i was going to do them as a cheat they would be cookie butter stuffed and topped with honey/banana or something along those lines with a homemade compote.

Burrito could be something for the future for sure.

I feel so deprived in Canada, half these flavours are unavailable to me

I wonder if we have any exclusive kinds here, I would feel a little less jealous then lol

So true. Because if one eats a "dirty" food they are automatically an IIFYM eater and only eat ice cream, pop tarts, and cookies.

  13. Should there be a new thread for WORST cheat meals ? Like have you ever wasted calories on eating total disgusting barf?

    Here's a few I had today
Stater bros cinnamon swirl french toast: tastes like chemical burn. Wth there's no real cinnamon in here. 2/10
7/11 Chocolate brownie: Tastes like potting soil with sugar. Slightly better than the french toast but that's not saying much 2.5/10
    STAY AWAY .

Last week: Taco bell Waffle taco 1/10 OMG this is the worst trash I've ever had. Oily soggy waffle had no waffle taste, instead of eggy, buttery , fluffy and milky it was like some dudes workout towel deep fried and a bit chewy too. Worst mouth feel for eggs too.

Lol, what do you expect from 7-11 or Taco Bell? I can't comment on Slater's since I have no idea what it is. When I have a cheat meal, I make sure it is something I make and like or go to a really good restaurant that I enjoy. Not a chain though, usually a hole in the wall or local place.

  15. Well, tbh they have a wide assortment of foods that I find not bad to eat. I didn't think it would be that easy to screw up something as simple as french toast or a brownie lol. The other foods are more complex.
Taco bells lunch or regular selection taste at least edible to me, but their breakfast menu is barf city.

I really like hole in the walls, but you know what? My whole area is totally horrible these days from the past 4 years. All food quality is down, price is up. My list of crap is piling up real fast. I've crossed out a list of over a dozen places that went from real good to real crappy.

Better off making your own french toast or brownies next time. Even if you keep them somewhat clean, healthy, etc. you might still fill that craving. Or go to a bakery, they usually have good selections.

Overall this is a good pickup for a limited edition flavor if you are a die-hard Peanut Butter and Jelly lover or have a massive craving. The base is good, but as stated the Jelly overpowers the peanut butter alone (I sampled before I got my pint to give it a fair test before the mix-ins were added). The additional peanut butter and Jelly basically turn into swirls once the workers mix everything together with the PB & J Base which is a great compliment similar to PB Jam Session and Wegmans PB & J. The Graham Cracker Pie Crust is what really aids this creation giving it a nice crunch and after taste which goes very well with the PB & J. Between B&J and Wegmans i would place this one second on my list of favorites. Ben & Jerry's I found to be very similar besides a straight PB Base with similar Jelly swirl/flavoring, and Wegmans bringing home the #1 spot with not only a denser/richer Peanut Butter flavor in the base, but also stronger and sweeter Jelly Swirls. The Graham Cracker Pie Crust is what gives this the edge over Ben and Jerry's.

  21. I have a load of errands to run to be bothered with cooking tomorrow, in which I'll be out most of the day after a quick run to the grocery store.

  22. I need a crockpot. If you I have frozen chicken breasts, can you just put it right in? Or thaw first

  23. Put it right in. It will take a bit longer, but won't be a problem.

Q: when I cook frozen chicken I get a bunch of what looks like coagulated blood/broth floating around. I usually dump it along with the broth and fat. Is this normal? I'll take a pic next time I do it if a better explanation is needed.

Ewwww....like Bob, I too always buy fresh. Usually I buy ground chicken breast. Easy to cook and work with.

Yes with the bagged frozen chicken...However...If you buy it fresh and cook within time you will have better results. The only frozen chicken you'll see me eat is when I buy in bulk, measure out 200 or 100 gram portion sizes and freeze them in individual bags.

Even then they have to be on sale.

Thaw them in room temperature, or in cold water for best flavors before cooking. Do NOT thaw in hot water. This can destroy natual flavors.

If you cook your frozen chicken while it's frozen you are really doing the flavors an injustice.

    Just my .02.

  30. Chicken has flavor? Since when? Lol
