I'm suffering from adrenal insufficiency. I want to embark on a IF protocol, but wonder how it could be tailored for my condition. Going 16 hours without food would be tough on my adrenals. Could I still benefit from IF by adding a small balanced, carbs protein and fat, meal at 12 or 13 hour mark? Or should I just forget IF until I've fully recovered? Or maybe doing a 24 hour fast once a week would be less stress as its only once a week rather than daily.
