  2. Yea it sounds like it could be very promising.. will be interesting to see where it goes and what other things it will lead to.

Don't you find it odd, though, that articles like this surface semi-regularly and then you NEVER hear anything about it, later? You know my paranoia of big pharma; makes me wonder if they never let this miracle products ever leave the ground because they need us all unhealthy.

  4. That would be a wide-spread conspiracy but if the government is capable of transforming from natural rights to socialist without more than 2/3 of America knowing, I'd say that its possible that a multi-multi billion dollar industry could hide and restrain biological knowledge and progress from the markets as well.

  5. Yea I don't want to suggest a "conspiriacy" theory, but I can see how easy it would be. The pharmaceutical industry is no doubt corrupt and has thier best interests in mind.. This has become very apparent to me since I started working out 7 or 8 years ago and studying supplements and health issues. I have a friend who is really into conspiracy theories and says that there is a cure for cancers.. some obscure B vitamin if I recall what he said right. I don't know about all that, but I am sure that many of these things get gulped up so we don't have cheap access to them.. much like oil companies buying up patents on super-efficient carbeurators that would give us 80-100 mpg with no real performance drops.

Haha, my bad, I didn't mean to try and steer this thread in that direction, at all.

The intent was more so about how great findings seem to be made more regularly in the health field and very seldom do we hear more about them after the initial report. Maybe they all just fail in human trials and that's that, but it just seems odd, because I feel like I've seen tons of promising findings that have not materialized, even years later.

  7. if we were all healthy then who would our medical system fak up the a$$ with ridiculous charges, then who would buy medicare, insurance, etc.
The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do.

  8. i believe i heard something like people are being cure from cancer somewhere in India no problem, however that wouldnt benefit our system since those long extensive chemo therapies would no longer be useful
