Currently i am taking about 40 grams of protein and 30 or so grams of carbs in my workout shake (using apple juice for my carb, whey for my protein). I tend to drink about 1/3 b4 i workout and the rest afterwards. I am also drinking about 1/3 to 1/2 Gallon of water while training, i put a scoop of BCAAs in my training water.

Up until that shake i don't concern any meaningful carbs during the day. I train around 5pm and usually eat my dinner around 6:30 or so.

Overall try and get one gram of protein per pound of LBM. I try and keep my carbs low (under 200 grams) and just around dinner. My two early meals are usually just casein and peanut butter shakes or a salad with 8 ounces of chicken on it. i probably drink about a gallon of water a day.

I weigh about 295 pounds (6'2 in height). I am keeping myself at a caloric deficit that will have me loose about 2 pounds a week.

Would you change my peri/post workout strategy. Just want some insight and suggestions.
