well im not gonna be able to provide you clinical studies since the government is heavily invested into grains and therefore doesnt fund research that would show negative effects of their consumption. i will tell you this though, as more and more people switch to a paleo grain free type diet they see their IBS symptoms cease completely as well as other disorders. the anti nutrients in grains damage the intestinal tract, just the insoluble fiber itself scrapes the intestines forcing a mucous release according to scientists. i mean i am speculating but isnt everyone else in this thread? throwing out different ideas or supplements that could help?
i myself used to experience horrible acid reflux after grain heavy meals, big bowls of pasta, sandwiches, oatmeal. ive eliminated these things from my diet a little over a year ago and i havent had a single taste of my own stomach acid since then. im just an open minded troll who experiments with food to try to achieve optimal health. eliminating grains has gotten rid of my seasonal allergies, any constipation/runs issues, trimmed all unwanted body fat, gave me more energy. its really something worth trying if suffering from any kind of ailment.
you've never wondered that maybe its something you are eating thats causing acid reflux? there is no way thats possible!!!
