I've been looking around the forum a lot these past few days and I see threads all over where people ask "how much are you eating?" and it's never enough.. but the primary issue there is appetite. I, for one, am never hungry enough to down tons of food for cals. I am wondering does anyone have any tips on increasing appetite?

Claritin makes me hungry, also Benadryl makes me very hungry but it also makes me very tired and grumpy.

Honestly, you should never let your body get to the point where it is starving as this is when you're most likely to binge and overeat. What I do is to have 2 protein shakes per day with a serving of fruit and 1-2 oz of nuts. I take these between my "big" meals and they don't fill me up, but still provide a tremendous amount of calories for growth.

i just make sure im always eating/preparing food i really enjoy that way i look forward to eating it....sure i might not be hungry but it still tastes good and i know its helping me get to where i wanna be ya know

Unfortunately, I don't have any difficulty having an extremely large appetite. 5k cals isnt a challenge. I simply love food. Increasing frequency of food intake seems to rev up my appetite.

enjoy it or not. 12 eggs and chicken everyday gets very boring. what i did to stretch it is REALLY work on eating alot during breakfast. now i eat 3 cups of oats, 6 eggs then 30 min later a shake. just keep on forcing it in you. what also helps me around lunch/dinner when u get your big meals in, i try to take a crap before i eat.

I know some days i feel hungry all the time (i don't eat anymore though)and some days i have to see what time it is so i dont go 4hrs or so.Don't eat really anything different only thing that changes is my training be it weights or kickboxing find it to be days i kickbox and lift actually its the day after i feel it.Must be burning more cals then i think.Better start going to taco bell the day after for some mystery meat!!!

i know if i dont start the day off eating like a champ, then i wont be hungry the rest of the day. once u know u have already put 1k cals and 65g of protein in ur body in the morning, u want to keep going (not all at once..spread out a bit)

just stretch your stomach. the more u eat the more u want to eat and pretty soon u will have stretched it out enough that if u dont eat u will be starving. one thing that helped me stretch it out is pasta and lots of it.
