I just cooked and ate an awesome 10 oz grass finished london broil from whole foods. It was awesome.

According to multiple sites on the net it only has 320 cals, 61 g protein, 9 g fat. Awesome.

No question here, I just wanted to share.

well actually its quite the opposite. even grass fed cows are finished with corn. grass finished means they never eat corn.

It's just hard to come by in my area i can only get grass fed in a town 20mi. from my house in Hanover, but its not that much more then regular beef i think its about $8 bucks for a 16oz sirlion.I can really tell the diff. from store beef to grass fed way,way more tender.

Yep.

Technically speaking, all beef are grass-fed at some point early in their lives. Grass-finished generally means that the cows were not only "started" on grass but finished on it as well.

I think it was like 8 bucks per pound. Not horrible.

T-nation had an article that covered the difference between grass fed and finished, "nutsack nutrition" or something high-minded like that

Yea, it's still the sh--. I don't know of any place to get it other than Whole Foods though.

local farmers. lots of local farms raise grass fed animals. buying becomes a pain in the ass though, you need to buy membership, come at specific hours, etc.
google that ish
