    My skin tingles...

I just consumed my mid day meal, which is always the same thing: chicken and broccoli with cheesy brown rice. I use 2 flash frozen chicken breasts, fresh broccoli, brown rice, and throw some cheddar cheese in.

How come every time I eat this, it feels like I just swallowed a pound of beta alanine and niacin???

Not a bad feeling, but I've just never looked into it. Weird.

Is it your largest meal of the day by any chance?

Chicken has beta-alanine, although I'm not sure if the amount in 2 breasts is enough to be causing the tingling.

My largest meal also happens to have chicken in it too, haha.

edit: Also if you take zma or any other zinc supps, and don't go out of your way to add in a bit more copper from somewhere else such as a multi vit, it can cause tingling in the extremities.

Hardly any dair. Milk with my AM shake, cottage cheese before bed.

I have been reading into it a little on some cooking websites and chicken and broccoli both contain niacin as well as the chicken containing beta alanine, which could be where the tingling comes from. Maybe it's my body's way of telling me thanks for treating it so well and eating right, and the tingling means everything's going to the right places eh?

Yep - it's a thanks for the delicious, healthy food.

Now if only I could stop getting skin tingles when I get drunk and take a few caps of MAN Swagger...

HAH what is Swagger? I get tingles when I tip a few back. Not sure what causes it though because I take a lotta bit of everything on drinking nights before I go out. For multiple reasons...

I'm not sure I want to know what this is.
