This Prevalent Antioxidant has over 90,000 articles compared to 44,000 on vitamin C. This is the only one natually produce in our cells.
Glutathione plays a amazing role in support. It [B]Fights against oxidative cell damage (from free radicals), Protein Synthesis, Amino Acid Trasport, Cellular Detoxification, Immune System Enhancement, Enzyme Activation, Fights Cellular Inflamation, and ATP (energy) production.

How do you suggest supplementing Glutathione? Regular Glutathione? Reduced Glutathione? NAC?

A lot of research I've read on NAC suggests 1800mg/day. I've also read that supplementing with Regular Glutathione has a negligible impact on Glutathione levels.

There is only one way to supplement with pure Glutathione without it being broken down in the gut: IV - dr's can do this at certain clinics afaik, but not on demand

NAC is good though to help improve glutathione levels. Supplementing with glutathione is almost useless as it breaks down in the gut. NAC will break down as well, but it breaks down into glutathione precursors.

NAC + NA-RALA are probably the best liver support supps you can take.

  6. Stupid title and vague post of no worth. Show clinical citation that it is 10,000 times more powerful than vit c. In which context you also fail to specify. I'm surprised he forgot to spam a link to whatever **** product he has to promote.

  7. They do have one study out there "Double Blind, Placebo Controlled Crossover Clinical Study" of a research that has proven that this Dr. Robert Keller who has this rare Composition Patent usually award to pharmaceutical products. This particular supplement can be varified & quantified in a blood test on a intracellular lever, no other.
So there is new science that bypasses the stomach and penatrates the cellular walls and provide the componds to help your body naturally make its own glutathione.

  8. Post the study, what you are claiming is well...

by the way x2 on NAC and NA-RALA, not only does the research and application prove how effective it is on hepatic function, but I have my own past blood work to prove it, at least to me.

  9. NAC can prevent loss of muscle and the decrease body fat?

NAC makes the body excreting more Zinc and Copper in the urine?

  14. CYSTEINE AND GLUTATHIONE PRODUCTION

Cysteine, along with Glutamic acid and Glycine make up the tripeptide, Glutathione, which is an important antioxidant, detoxifying chemical compounds, peroxides, and protecting cells from free radical damage. Levels of Glutathionedecrease after age 40 and low levels are associated with increasing the aging process. Excessive alcohol, acetaminophen, and cigarette smoke deplete Glutathione levels. N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine may be even more effective inraising Glutathione levels in the lungs, kidneys, liver and bone marrow, then L-Cysteine or even L-Glutathionesupplementation. (Also take ALA). By boosting the Glutathione levels, anti-aging effects are have been noted, such asthe reduced appearance of “age spots”.

    CYSTEINE AND TAURINE PRODUCTION

Taurine is made from Cysteine in the liver when there is sufficient B-6 present for synthesis. High concentrations ofTaurine are found in the heart muscle, central nervous system and white blood cells. It is very important fordevelopmental brain function, as well as having many other beneficial properties in the body.

N-ACETYL-L-CYSTEINE AND IMMUNE COMPROMISED DISORDERS RELATED TO HIV

The HIV virus appears to decrease natural Cysteine levels, producing a mechanism destroying the immune system.Studies have shown N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine supplementation was responsible for marked increase in immunologicalfunctions, effected the Natural killer (Nk) cells and T cell function, and plasma albumin concentrations in HIV infectedpatients with antiviral therapy (ART). Supplementation with N-Acetyl –L-Cysteine is recommended for patients with orwithout ART to increase Glutathione levels and immune system function. (Alpha Lipoic Acid is also important to helpraise Glutathione levels).

N-ACETYL-L-CYSTEINE FOR ANTIOXIDANT PROTECTION RE: NEUROLOGICAL HEALTH

N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine prevents the oxidative damage, which is the pathogenesis of ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and some preliminary studies indicated increased survival rates and motor improvement in animals.

Protective antioxidant properties of N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine in the brain protect it from toxic compounds, which contribute to Alzheimer’s disease.

Precautions: Cysteine is not recommended for diabetics, since it may have an effect on insulin production.

Those whohave Cystinuria, a rare genetic disorder involved in the formation of Cystine kidney stone, should not take Cysteine.

Cysteine may cause gastric irritation. N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine appears not to cause gastric irritation with sufficient water.

  15. NAC tastes like nasty sulfur eggs and Na-RALA burns. But yup, they're good for you. Got both in my supp cupboard for when I am drinking my bottle of wine.

AWESOME! I did not know this and I just so happen to have both of those on hand. Thiis is something that should be taken daily for general health correct? I have the NAC because I was doing a PH pulse and the na-rala to make some bootleg glycobol. How many mg of these should I take daily for liver support?

NAC id shoot between 1 and 2 grams a day
na-rala maybe half a gram split up

  20. Wow, and I thought the only thing for liver support was milk thistle. Amazing. I gotta get my hands on this stuff.

    Glutathione
    NAC

    Grape seed extract
    Fish oil
Use NAC to boost glutathione levels, not the actual ingredient. Id just go with cycle assist.

agree'd! It is way more cost effective to just get a bottle of cycle support than piece it all together. I am doing an epi pulse now and I take cycle support on off days and on days I take NAC, nettle root and hawthorne berry. I take grape seed extract as a everyday supplement and the same for fish oil.

  24. IME, the problem is that NAC does decrease copper stores at regular dosing. This can lead to tendinitis and some joint pain. I think NAC is still good although at irregular dosing. RLA/RDHLA combo seems to work well dly, with no sides. NAC and RLA combo products exist.

Good Call! Yeah, I thought for a minute that it may be cheeper to construct your own, obviously I was wrong! Also, would be beneficial to take DHEA on "off" mornings to control Cortisol levels?
