I dont think almond milk has the MCT's like coconut milk. MCT's found in coconut milk are medium chain triglycerides which are fats that are preferentially used as fuels rather then being stored as body fats. Back in the early 90's some companies actually had supplements of MCT's that you could add to protein shakes etc. I think they are good stuff. There is organic unsweeted coconut milk at my Stop and Shop. Your supermarket might have it too.
