I didn't know that. All i can say is wow. They allow steroids for personal use but ban vit c.
Well I heard about this on alternative media.Subject to a $5million dollar fine for possessing Vitamin C??? C'mon, this has got to be an April Fools joke from last year or something.
"So, not surprisingly in 2009, the Canadian people will have to get a prescription from a doctor and convince him that the supplements are more beneficial than the drugs. Those caught with unauthorized vitamin C are subject to a $5,000,000 criminal fine and up to two years in prison. The heart of the issue is not only taking away one's right for self-preservation, but relinquishing one's physical well-being to government."Well we will see
Well I was wondering if any of the member here live in Canada and can shed some light on it. I heard somewhere, that it hasn't been enforced, but was announced."So, not surprisingly in 2009, the Canadian people will have to get a prescription from a doctor and convince him that the supplements are more beneficial than the drugs. Never happened. I can't find any other news source on it either. Pretty sure its not true.
That is what I have been trying to say lol. I AM CANADIAN to slogan myself haha. My buddy owns a nutrition store too and I am sure he would have mentioned it...Well I was wondering if any of the member here live in Canada and can shed some light on it. Well that's good news, but if something like this does happen please let us know. I've heard they have been trying to ban vitamins and minerals for a long time. That is what I have been trying to say lol. I AM CANADIAN to slogan myself haha. As for on the News..I watch it quite a bit and never saw anything about it. I also live around a lot of hippie protesters who post stuff on the telephone poles well in advance when something like this occurs..again nothing haha.
I will. It is more along the lines of banning things that are very potent. They have always done this, which is why I order most of my stuff from down south. We do however have a very healthy culture overall that supports healthy living for the most part. Especially BC and Quebec. We have a very high food quality standard. We also have a no tolerance rule about borderline supplements..Which sucks in a lot of cases. Always ways around though :ninja:Well that's good news, but if something like this does happen please let us know. I've heard they have been trying to ban vitamins and minerals for a long time.
So how are steroids sold in Canada?if it is true then I think it's outrageous, high doses of vitamin c also treats polio.. Why support steroids but not a life saving vitamin?
Thanks to the internet, I have seen that a woman sneaking an orange, no, a couple of oranges "prison style"... or even "baby style" is quite possible. Apples too.Nice. Now you can pick up Heroin and Oranges from your drug dealer okey: What about sneaking an orange prison style..... :nervous:
I gotta "Choosy moms choose JIF" PB jar in a VJ on my cell phone from a buddy....ewwwwww....Thanks to the internet, I have seen that a woman sneaking an orange, no, a couple of oranges "prison style"... or even "baby style" is quite possible. Apples too.
Thank you, internet. :mischievous:
Exactly and was reintroduced as Bill C6 which was also killed...it has some real bs attached to it..like abolition of trespass rights. To be reintroduced in the future I am sure...I don't think any Canadian would willingly accept it if they knew the full story. It was a bill (C-51) that was introduced in 2008 but was struck down.

If it did pass, it would've had huge ramifications for the natural health industry in Canada. Old news, though.
