Okey, I tore my left biceps in a strong man competition on Sat. and am going in for surgery this afternoon. Some nutrition questions...

I am prone to weight gain (not the good kind). I will be out of training for about 6 months from what I have read. Do I cut back on calories and try to keep my fat down...but lose more muscle, or do I keep my calories up, gain fat, but hold on to as much muscle as possible?

I have to say mentally, I will fair better if I keep my fat down...at least I won't look like a disgusting fatbody.
