I am dieting very rigidly. This means I am eating veggies out the wazoo.

No oil, just PAM Olive Oil Flavor

I spray the pan before cooking AND while cooking (gives them a nice oily taste without the calories)

I noticed my veggies are a bit greasy LOLOL.

How much fat is there in a can of PAM?

I use a judicious amount fo the stuff, prolly going thru a can every 5 days (10 stur fry's)

Just curious

Kinda of like the I-cant=believe-its-not-butter SCAM

Sure, 5 sprays = zero calories but who the heck used 5 sprays? LOL

If you're using a whole can in five days you are adding calories. According to PAM's web site, a one second spray is 1g of Fat and 7 Calories.

http://www.pam4you.com/pages/products/oliveoil/index.jsp

I'd suggest buying straight up olive oil in a can since it is going to be better for you than PAM- even better than Olive Oil is coconut oil (for cooking that is).

Switch to grape seed oil, it is great and has no taste, I actually think it makes my eggs better, I have recommended this to many people who use non stick sprays, they all have tried it and love it, spectrum is the best brand I have tried

Agreed! Why not grow some balls and use bacon fat or butter?

Why would you ever be concerned with the calories in non-stick spray? Ugh, some people just take it way too far.

7 Calories x 438 servings = 3,066 Calories

If you are really going through a can every 5 days, then that's a lot.

lay off the pam dude, give her a rest, and then let me have a whack at her! but seriously bro... use some butter, or NATURAL oils like grape seed (says jayts22), or even real olive oil. and dont stress over calories or fat from cooking spray. just use real ignredients... isn't that what you're supposed to use in a diet anyways? lol.

in my opinion, butter FTW!
