    I am 5'6 135 lbs trying to get up to 160 with toned muscle

    My diet consists of:

    Morning - 6 am:
    1 scoop whey
    1 cup kashi GO lean cereal 13g protein

    brunch - 9 am:
    KRAFT BREYERS LIGHT Nonfat Strawberry Yogurt 8 g protein
    1 scoop whey

    Lunch - 12 pm:
    1 Can tuna 24g protein
    2 slices of low cal wheat bread 45 cal per slice 6g protein
    1 Apple

    Pre-workout 2 pm:
    1 scoop Whey

    Post workout 4-5 pm:
    1 scoop whey
    KRAFT BREYERS LIGHT Nonfat Strawberry Yogurt 8 g protein
    1 banana

    Dinner - 7 pm:
    1 Chicken Breast
    1 Sweet potato
    1 Apple

    Before bed - 10 - 11 pm
    1 scoop whey

    TOTAL
    Calories: 1821
    Protein: 195g protein
    Carbs: 222g
    Fat: 17g

    do I need more caloric intake or no?


  2. sounds like an ok maintenence diet. what are you going for?

  3. Word of advice from my personal experience, try to keep to whole foods as much as possible and keep the shakes to a minimum Ive always found by far the best gains to come from whole food!

  4. More fats, and add some beef and veggies.

    You're total calorie intake isn't close to a bulking total. Throw in some peanuts, almonds, peanut butter, whole eggs, beef, fish oil, salmon, whole milk....that should do it.
