What type of blood work?

When I search blood work I get all these different results as for what to test for. Obviously, I want test, free test, LH, lipids, liver, cholesterol, and a few others.

My questions are: what specific names of test should I ask for? How should I go about requesting blood work? Do I just make an apt. and say I'm interested in knowing these values because I workout?

Sorry for the stupid question but I would appreciate your answers.

You answered your own question:
I don't know about over there, but generally you cannot get bloods done withOUT a request/script from a doctor. Make an appointment with a doctor. Tell the doctor that you are interested in seeing what's happening with your bloods for health reasons, or say that you want to see what the effects of certain supplements are having on you. Give a list of the specific bloods you want done. The doctor may or may not give you the script for certain blood measures, because it costs different prices for certain bloods (i.e. getting testosterone/hormones costs more than simply doing a lipids test, etc.)
