I have read many articles about whether or not they should be counted in your daily totals. Some say yes, some say no. What do you guys think?

I have read many articles about whether or not they should be counted in your daily totals. Some say yes, some say no. What do you guys think?
From my limited reading on them, count 1/2 of the calories/carbs, Fiber also adds calories/carbs.

What kind of SA are you using?

Not using any, just the ones that are present in various protein/filler bars. There are articles out there that say they still have an impact on insulin levels. I was wondering if that was entirely true.
