What is YOUR opinion of Beef Jerky as a snack??

-Personally i like to get the jacks links Jalapeno (i love hot foods, i eat hot sauce on everything) for my 12 hour shifts on the weekends, nice snack in the morning good protein for the most part and some fats and sugars to keep me awake. I have never really had any issues with it, i prefer the homemade stuff more though.

Just wondering what you guys think of the stuff?

(posted in weight loss thread on accident, sorry)

There is a brand - whose name I cannot recall as of now - that has 'no salt added' Jerky.

I make a sorta trail mix with jerky in it, very tasty, and I do that to up the protein, use nuts, dried fruit and cayenne pepper and garlic powder. It's delicious. I don't think it maters if no salt is added, it will still be a high number!

I love salty foods, obviously humans are supposed to lol... but i drink an ass load of water everyday, to the point of getting water logged (Former Marine still haven't gotten the super hydration thing out of my system), so for now salty foods are okay i guess
