  1. getting cholesterol blood test and i'll be fukked if im gonna fast all morning

im 6'3 240 and i have been eating every 2-3 hours for 4 years.

what can i eat in the morning that wont mess up cholesterol and triglycerides too much? im 24 btw and bad cholesterol runs in the family...my dad had a minor heart attack at 55

  2. It sucks, but don't eat. That's the whole point of the fasted test as you know. Most blood clinics open up at 9, so sleep in until 8:30 and just drink water until then. You can have a shake afterwards.

I think perhaps you can have some BCAA's, but preferably nothing so you don't affect glucose/insulin levels incase you're getting those checked too.

  3. nope not glucose/insulin...so are carbs ok?

i've been doing low carb prepping for keto for 2 weeks...lots o bacon cheese and eggs in my diet

  4. No.... don't eat anything. there is a reason they tell you to not eat. It's not going to kill you, and you can just add the calories from the missed meal into your other meals. you don't want to mess up your results.

  5. Lol. One day out of 4yrs dude. Calm down. Just get the test done.

  6. This is fairly simple. If you don't fast, you WILL NOT have accurate lipid panel readings.

I assure you, you can do it.
