Any recommended supps for CKD or Palumbo Diets?
I've been reading and reading, getting ready to start a Palumbo run (high protein, med fat, nil carbs) for a month or so, then switch over to CKD (high fat, med protein, nil carbs).
I was curious if anyone uses or recommends any supps for keeping blood sugar levels stable, or any supps that just generally enhance or speed up ketosis, etc.
I'm new so be nice!
Thanks in advance!

I always like creatine on CKD, it gives a little extra kick. Thats probably the first one I would suggest to help improve the quality of the workouts.

An anticortisol product (*cough* LeanFX) can really be helpful.
CKD diets work by making fats the primary substrate for energy, by minimizing carbohydrate intakes. Unfortunately, the body can still produce sugars on its own. Even more unfortunately, it takes apart muscle proteins to do so, with the help of a little steroid hormone, called cortisol. Taking an anti-cortisol supplement can really help fatloss and maintain muscle mass, while cutting with a CKD diet, and make a very noticeable difference.

Another way to prevent the body from metabolizing proteins as fat is to play around with carb levels. The less carbs that the brain requires to make the less carbs will be made. Will a very minute portion can come from the gylcerol portion of the fat, your right protein is the big target. But luckilly as time in ketosis continues the glucose requirment from the brain slowly lowers, all though it would be nice if the brain could run without it.

How often should one cycle off of LeanFX?
I'm more familiar with Lean Xtreme (from DS), how does LeanFX compare?
Can LFX be combined with something like "Recreate" by USP ?
Thank You !!!

phosphatidyl serine, na-rala, cinnamon + chromium, fiber, omega's, multis n stims. and maybe some test.
PEA is great for keeping cravings down.
Good post on the creatine...I take CRE02, I try to make sure I get enough sodium too.

Also... I read a bit on Glucophas by DS, is there something similar to this now? Any thoughts on its effectiveness should I come across a bottle... or is it not best for a CKD/Palumbo?
Thanks

LFX contains 17b-triol, which is a more potent metabolite of the active found on Lean Xtreme (7-OH-DHEA). It also contains a few ingredients to help curb your appetite. One thing about low-carb diets is they often cause a drop in leptin levels, a hormone associated with satiety, which can cause you to sometimes overeat.
LeanFX can stack well with products like Recreate, Stimulant X, Amp2, DCP, or green tea.
Hope this helps you out.

Still curious about how long one can go on Lean FX or Lean Xtreme before needing to cycle off.
Curious of thoughts on Glucophase, or any others like it..
Curious on use of Clen on CKD/Palumbo..
Curious on effectiveness of SD on CKD/Palumbo (I've hear mixed things on using sd with a low carb/no carb nutrition plan)
Thanks

The longest I would go with a LeanFX cycle is 8 weeks.
You do not want to take things that dramatically reduce your bloodsugar while on low carbs. I can see the use of glucophage during refeeds, but definitely not continuous.
I also don't like to recommend superdrol during any cutting phase. It is too anabolic, and causes some serious lethargy.

you should look into the Animal Omega, its a very comprehensive EFA supp but its can be pricy depending on where u get it from, But i think its worth it espically when your on a diet which relies on fats so heavily.

Thoughts on glucophase or similar products?
Thoughts on running Clen?
Thoughts on how effective a cycle of SD would be while doing CKD/anabolic/palumbo with excess cals?
Thanks

Fish Oil and Vit.C are recommended and i think i read about pottasium as well but i have not added it yet.
Sulbutiamine has really helped with energy. I haven't experienced any brain fog at all yet and Beta-Alanine and a ton of water seems to be keeping me full and vascular. At least i think it's the BA.
If you find a site like Fitday and type in your daily foods you can find out what you are lacking in.

Don't waste your money on supplements here. Mortons lite salt, or any substitute salt contains potassium.
