Milk and Fish Myths?

whiskers

So I heard on the radio that Skim, 1% and 2% milk have vegetable oil added back into them, making them not quite the diet choice people hope for when they buy them. Anyone else heard anything like this?

And my dad's Chiropractor was saying that the whole "dangerous levels of mercury in tuna" is a crock, and to check out fishscam.com ....your thoughts?

I've only heard that milk fat is added back into milk. Ive eaten my fill of tuna a day and haven't suffered any negative effects.

I had heard about mercury in tuna but I love tuna too much. That's good to know it may not be true. I have also heard swordfish has some of the highest levels of mercury...

"“White” tuna (albacore) has more mercury than canned light tuna. So, when choosing fish and shellfish, include only up to 6 ounces per week of white tuna."

Light chunk tuna is actually not those large monster tuna that you see, its a different type of tuna that is smaller and younger. I don't have the exact name of the tuna, but that's where the difference in mercury levels stems from.
