So on the back of a multivit bottle i've got it says "All supplements containing Vitamin A (preformed Retinol) are vest avoided by those who regularly eat liver and products made from liver."

Anyone know why this is?

Correct. Some organ meats like liver contain relatively high levels of vitamin A. It is one of the vitamins that is easier to consume too much of leading to toxicity.

Yes, because you can overdose and die.

I know Polar bear liver can kill.

But I've been drinking a shot glass of Cod liver oil once in the morning, once at night.....no ill effects, gonna cut down to one shot glass a day next month.
