5 Years of X-Factor

Interview with William Llewellyn

NutraPlanet is pleased this month to have a sit down interview with industry figure and Molecular Nutrition CEO William Llewellyn. If you don't recognize the name, Llewellyn is probably most well known for his research and writings about muscle-building substances, and his widely selling ANABOLICS book series (presently ANABOLICS 2007). Today we are going to talk to him about Molecular Nutrition's X-Factor (arachidonic acid), one of the hottest natural anabolic supplements on the market right now. It is also a product that seems to be standing the test of time. As we sat down with Llewellyn, X-Factor had just passed its 5-year anniversary. We figured this would be a great time to follow up on the product, and what Llewellyn has learned working with it over the past half decade. Even if you have no idea what this supplement is, the following interview should be a very interesting read!

Read the full interview by signing up for the NutraPlanet Newsletter (will be emailed out Wed, April 9th) for informative articles, interviews, and oh yes...EXCLUSIVE DISCOUNTS ;)

Awesome, cool to see NP branching out into new realms of the industry. Looking forward to this. Also while were on the topic and you got the man here, any chance NP will carry Anabolics 2007 in the future?

This should be a really interesting read, can't wait for the newsletter. Nice job Nutraplanet!

The newsletter keeps getting better and better. I foresee some articles in newsletters too, somewhere down the road :jedimindtricks:

On a side note, even my local supp store has X Factor, which surprised me because most of the stuff I hear about from AM/NP, I can't find at my local store unless it's Muscle Milk, ON or the like.

Definitely looking forward to this...Bill has one of the best minds in the industry, and an attention to detail that few others have.

Agreed, the 2004 edition is a great read.

Yes

niceeeee :head:. Been wanting to pick it up but I rarely play orders for books online. Now I'll have the excuse to just throw it my cart with my next order lol.

**edit also: just for interest purposes, not a roid user at 19 lol.

Anabolics 2007 is a great update...Well worth it.

plus it contains a section on HAvoc, making it the ultimate guide.

Yes

Stry, I don't know if it's feasible, but there's plenty of authors out there that sell their own books that I'd love to see on NP. An example would be Alan Aragon's Girth Control, or Lyle McDonald's stuff.

I'm not sure if they would be up for it, but I think it would be a beneficial partnership if you managed to get things to work out.

Nice article NP. Some solid info. Really liked how when William was talking about observed gains/typical gains he made the clarification of 25 pounds not being pure LBM and that it wasn't typical just from one case (aka not unjustifiably pimping his product.) Also found it interesting that AA was cleared to be used in baby formula to help promote infant development, thats very reassuring safety wise and just across the board.

Again awesome to see Nutra branching out. Is this a one time deal or is Nutra looking to do additional articles in the future?

For those interested in X-Factor, here is an admittedly flawed, but decent glimpse into running X-Factor from several years ago. Mike McCandless, formerly of Bulk Nutrition, donated the X-factor for the test and I administered.

Admittedly, there are many flaws in my design, but I felt it was a fair study. There were some decent gains in mass/strength and several reports of decent recomp.
