Cissus question

I just got my NP Cissus 50% extract caps and they smell exactly like Fenugreek. Is this normal?

No I don't. So, you didn't notice anything for your joints? I just wanted to make sure that they werent Fenugreek because if I take too much of that stuff, my nips get puffy. I am dosing these at three per day as well. I have tried the bulk USP Labs Cissus (the gray sand) and I loved it.
 
The higher extract is not as beneficial for the joints at 5 or 10%. The 50% is more geared toward high doses that deliver an anabolic effect.
 
Not to bring this back from the dead.. so now that it's been a while how has the 50% been working out for you? The fenugreek smell is pretty strong..

It does seem to be working out. I am almost done with the bag and I get a good pump shortly after I take it.
 
Darn... may just have to go back to the regular bulk..I just don't understand why the smell is so different..

Yeah, I know because my supplement cabinent smells like maple syrup now. I think the 50% is supposed to be for anabolic use and the lower extract like the 10% is supposed to be for you joints.

Fenugreek is used to make "maple syrup" that is sold in grocery stores.. if these caps smell like maple syrup, thats not cissus my friend.

Well yeah, that's what a lot of people may believe but I trust Nutraplanet so unless they tell me otherwise as far as I know it's Cissus. Unless somehow the powder got mixed up and they just are not aware of it..

Thats what I thought too, but they don't sell bulk Fenugreek, so I don't know how there would be a mess up...maybe bulk Testofen? I also trust Nutraplanet as a whole, but I don't think the most brilliant people to pick orders in a warehouse (no offense to anyone who does this because I used to do it too before I joined the military and I remember the retards that I used to work with).

This was actually answered in a Previous thread. The 50% extract, does have a smell like fenugreek, but it is cissus. Higher % extracts of a lot of herbs, will have different smells and taste. The high % cissus extracts are NOT for joints, but for muscle growth.

Could you possibly explain why a higher extract would yield different results? That area is what doesn't make sense to me. In my mind I figure higher extract means less pills to have to take..
 
ahh well.. guess i'll just super dose it at the end of the epidrol.. otherwise for the reason i got it is pretty much worthless..
 
well hopefully they will do some good.. i will prolly just do 4 caps a day after my epidrol..
