formestane and penetrate??

My formestane is absolutely not working with the penetrate. I have tried everything from heating every time and shaking, to every other concievable option. What is everyone doing to make it work? My 6 OXO seems to be fine but I am really getting frustrated as the formestane is an absolutely outstanding product that is a must for summertime!!!!!:bb2:

I have had the exact same problem with my last 2 batches of formestane. It absolutly will not dissolve in penetrate. I"ve tryied heating it, putting a marble in it, and everything else that anyone has posted. The first batch I got many months ago didn't have this problem. Something has changed I think.
 
For the record, I still feel that Penetrate is a great transdermal as everything else that I have used dissolves perfectly. It just seems to be the formestane and I really want this to work.
 
I think dsade said the absolved carrier was necessary for it

I think that was just for localized application. It used to dissolve in Penetrate for systemic application.
 
Weird...i have had zero problems if I dissolve it a little at a time.
 
Place the penatrate in a glass bottle or beaker, place the beaker in a heating pan fill to at least 2in of water. Bring the water to a boil, let the solution in the bottle sit for at least 5-10mins in the boiling water, add in Form just a little at a time as dsade mentioned(capping and shaking the bottle at regular intervals), and viola you have a effective form product. Works well for me.

I tried this twice... fell out of solution overnight. I've had 5 grams in 4 ounces of penetrate.. then I upped it to 6 ounces. No change.

Hmm, don't know what you could do now. Did you still noticed the same effects compared to the batch that did dissolve? I take it you where still using the same gr/ounce scheme correct.
 
Yea, same dose scheme, (until I added the extra 2 ounces of penetrate)

The bottom inch or so of the bottle is crystals. Even if I shake it, it just suspends them. When I use it, it comes out very gritty.

I have been using it this way, but even at large doses, I haven't noticed any sides like aching joints or other low estrogen sides.

Started giving my pet ferret (he's a muscular ferret!) low dose anastrozole to combat estrogen.
 
The only thing I can think to try would be to add 5gr to an entire of bottle of penatrate. Perhaps saturation is met at that dose scheme. I've searched a couple of threads on the board here and people using that protocol didn't seem to complain.
 
Had the same issues, I let the form/pen boil in a glass cup several times and finally got most the of the form to dissolve into the solution. Sometimes I noticed great effects but others when the solution came out gritty I ofcourse didnt notice much.
 
must be a different batch than i had a month or so ago. btw some grit is normal.

Just wanted to let you and every one else know that I just mixed up 5gr of Form in 8oz penatrate using a hot plate and got all of it completely into solution. It's clear as water.:thumbsup:
 
I'll let you know. It's been cooled and stored for about 4 hrs now and all is good.
 
I used a funnel placed over my glass jar and dumped a whole 5gr baggy into it. Let it sit for about a minute or two picked up the jar and shook the sh!t out of it for about 20sec, placed back on the hot plate and let sit for another 10min and shook it again. Then turned the plate off and let sit to cool. All is good, just took my first application about 10min ago and there was no grit what so ever.

I hear you on that man, 6.50 adds up after a while. I think it would be possible to get about 6-7gr into solution as the 5 seemed to go fairly easy.
 
thanks for the info.....i tried it tonight and for some reason when i dumped it in after heating, the powder got absorbed right away. works great!!

Looks like it was a saturation thing. Glad to see you got it to work grexx.:thumbsup:

Now this thread can help all the other people curious about a trans form run.

P.S. Grexx you mentioned you where running this for a summer stack. Care to pm me or post your diet outline. Just curious.

I was tempted to try throwing both 6-OXO and Form in the same but figured that I didn't want to push my luck with saturation. I have them in 2 different bottles and use 150-200 mgs/day of both. Lovin' the results!!
 
I guess now you will all have to experiment with the LOCALIZED lipophilic carrier with formestane, and watch it....Abliderate that chest fat.

Agreed, I'm taking in around 160mg/day and really seeing some nice vascularity improvements after only 4days of use.

Wouldn't that name be much better suited for the 7oxo and localized carrier combo. For the form, you could go with Pecs-N.A-Flash

Ahhh...perhaps this is going to have the 7-OXO in it already, just not at saturation point, so there will be plenty of room to add some Formestane.

And localized means you would not need as much to be effective.

Got a new batch of form from NP. Dissoved the 5 grams into 4ml BA + 6ml penetrate (in a sterile glass jar-- shook like hell!) All of it dissolved. Then I added that to just under 1/2 bottle penetrate. No grit at all!

BA better method i.e. BA & pen together?

I had an issue mixing the stuff, it kept dropping out of the solution. Is this the best method so far?

  • Boil pan of water
  • Add Penetrate to glass beaker / pyrex measuring jug
  • Super heat
  • Stir in gram by gram i.e small amount of penetrate until all five grams in?
  • Cool back down to room temp
 
I worry about heating it too much... the alcohol in the penetrate will evaporate off, and I'm not sure how that might effect it as a carrier. I just kinda warm mine up a bit, then pour the formestane that I've all ready dissolved in the BA.

It will still settle in the bottle, but its not an undissolved grit. Its more like a "cloud", and as soon as you shake it, its suspended again.
 
So if I have already mixed it, and it did not dissolve completly, can heating still help, or do I have to start from scratch?
 
So Red you think the BA is a better way then? I had to heat mine a couple times because I didn't follow the method above.

Walmart / pharmacy's would carry this or?
 
It worked well for me Neo. I was never able to get it to fully dissolve with heat alone. There was always grit at the bottom. *note* I was only using 1/2 bottle of penetrate, 'cause I'm a cheap b@stard. People using a full bottle reported better results.

Nope, walmart won't carry BA. Its main use is in making injectables.
