What is the shelf life of penetrate? Does refrigeration and opening the bottle factor in?

Straight Penetrate? No. Penetrate with active ingredients in it? I would say yes.
Leaving the bottle of Penetrate uncapped would lead to evaporation of the alcohol, so that is not a good idea, but as long as it stays capped you will be fine.
